This is my friend Said Karlsson. Probably the most infamous photoblogger there is. He refers to himself as "The Great Said Karlsson", and i find it rather cute. Because there is some meaning in that boasting "nickname". Great friend, great photographer.

Ante, playing Army of two. Ante is without a doubt one of my craziest friends. Let us say that if this guy wins 25 million dollars in a lottery, the world wouldnt be a safe place anymore. 25 millions is probably a decent sum for him, and he'll probably spend it all on some wack masterplan, that he's been working on for years. And on top of it he's thinking of getting in to "the mango-buisness", just to say that he's "in mango". I love him.

Im sorry that i havent updated this blog so much recently. I guess that my trip to Paris made me spoiled, so now my ideas are all gone. And photography isnt as fun as it used to be. Maybe i'll need to rethink, and reconstruct everything regarding my photographic interest, so it will be back to normal.

Right now im hoping to get a job in Stockholm. Went to an interview last tuesday and it went great, or at least i hope so. Because it felt great. Lovely people that interviewed me, and i think we had fun, so im positive, and if i would get the job it would mean that i, for the first time in my life, get a job that i really, really want. You can practically say that i would be a dream come true.

And im sure it will suit me well.

So.. cross your fingers please.

Picked up another roll of film yesterday. Too bad that my camera broke down, so i had to open it up and therefore "destroy" some of the negs. But all of them didnt turn out bad. For more pictures click here

first time i made a picture Bw for ages, or months at least. Think i'll stick to colour. Picked up two photo books today by the way. Playgrounds, by Peter Friedl and Charachter thieves by Oliver Sieber. Great books, great photographers. I suggest that you check them out if you are interrested in world class photography.

The trip to Paris will soon come to an end. Tomorrow we will go to the Louvre and after that we're gonna check out La Defense. And if we're lucky we make it home so we can make a last stop at Colette and pick up some great photo books. Now it's time for sleep. Xoxo.

first roll

Picked up my first roll of film today. And im happy to say that will continue to shoot film with the old Nikkormat, until i find a decent Mamiya 6 (or 7, if the price is right) so that means that my eos 5d will remain retired until further notice.
